Plastimo Offshore liferaft

Mad Dog Voyager is outfitted with an offshore liferaft made by Plastimo. This Heavy-duty self inflatable life raft with two stacked flotation tubes and a self-erecting canopy designed for blue water (Ocean going) use.

Offshore Plus rafts incorporate Plastimo's deepest ballast pockets (11 gallons) for stability, drift prevention, and stronger anti-capsizing control in rough waters. A foam-coated double floor provides added protection against hypothermia. Retro-reflective tape on canopy and on bottom of life raft add visibility for rescuer. Two boarding ladders and a righting strap make boarding easier. Emergency kit includes: rain catching gutter for canopy, rainwater collecting pouch, one quart of water (per person), food rations (4.4 oz. per person), fishing kit, first aid kit, six seasickness pills, three hand-held SOLAS flares, two SOLAS parachute flares, lithium lamp for top of canopy, waterproof flashlight, two lightsticks, two floating anchors with 98'L and 33' of line, two paddles, rescue quoit with 98'L line, bailer, two sponges, repair kit, floating knife, pump, whistle, signal mirror, checklist and instruction manual, survival instructions and signal card. ORC and USSA approved.
