Speech
Every gun that is made, every warship
launched, every rocket fired signifies in the final sense, a theft from
those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not
clothed. This world in arms is not spending money alone. It is spending
the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of
its children. This is not a way of life at all in any true sense. Under
the clouds of war, it is humanity hanging on a cross of iron. ~Dwight D.
Eisenhower, 16 April 1953. |

A tribute to our true heroes
The crew of Mad Dog Voyager supports the men and
women that are fighting terrorism and those that have made the ultimate
sacrifice.
Everyone has an opinion whether we should be engaged in wars
or not and if the reasons for being there are right, however we should
all take a step back from our high-paced, busy lives and reflect on the
men and women that, whether they support the war or not, are giving
their best efforts and many time their lives.
We sincerely appreciate their efforts and the
sacrifices made by them in return for our freedom.
Thank you!

The Soldier
It's the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of
the press.
It's the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of
speech.
It's the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the
freedom to demonstrate
It's the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to
a fair trial.
It is the soldier who salutes the flag, serves under the flag
and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives the protester
the right to burn the flag.
